Students in W.E. Graham’s Grades 5/6 class engaged in a well-researched and compelling debate around various energy sources, both Renewable and Non-Renewable. The class engaged in a thoughtful discussion regarding the pros and cons of Wind, Solar, Geothermal, Hydro-Electric, Nuclear and Fossil Fuel. Through their time spent researching each energy source, the students were able to provide intelligent reasoning for why some energy sources are more viable than others, including the long-term viability of Renewable energy sources versus Non-Renewable sources.
