The grade 6 class at St Mary’s School in Cranbrook celebrated Earth day by creating recycled t-shirt bags.
Prior to this class, students shared many creative ideas on ways to help our planet and honour the earth. A reduction of plastic bags usage was mentioned most frequently. For the Earth day class, students brought used t-shirts from home and learned how to make them into bags. So pleased with their Earth day masterpiece, the student did a fashion show to showcase their class creations.
