JV Humphries students in Kaslo explored the Lifecycle of Stuff in February 2023. Groups of students researched the story of various everyday items such as a soccer ball, batteries, aluminum can, and a pair of jeans. The students presentations to their class on their item were entertaining and everyone participated. Beyond Recycling educator Gillian Sanders was very impressed with the students’ thoughtful delivery. Teacher Keely Grunerud was also interested to learn about each story given by the students and enjoyed the fun the students had with the lesson.
