Students at JV Humphries were super excited to share their new knowledge on the lifecycles of everyday items. They researched what items are made from, how these materials were extracted from the earth and some of the impacts related to extraction, how items were manufactured and associated impacts, how we use the items after we purchase them, and what happens to the items when we are finished using them. The presentations were fun, funny, and informative and grade 5/6 teacher Keely Grunerud was impressed with the students engagement with their research and sharing their presentations with their classmates!
