Our Jaffray class looked deeper into the waste we produce with the Garbology lesson. With safety equipment on we explored the classroom garbage and discovered a whole lot of plastic and packaging. Students calculated the amount of ziploc bags they would create in the entire year and were surprised to see how the use of single use items can really add up.
