The students from both KIS and Kootenay orchards were given the task over the March Break to collect recyclables and items destined for the landfill. The students not only came back to class with an array of items but the imagination and creativity was overwhelming!!! There were wind charms made with old spoons cut into shapes of fish, robots made form literally ever item in the recycle bin, cat houses, dog beds, chairs, miniature cars, pencil holders and bird feeders to name just a few. The students all participated and the results were amazing!! Great job students!!
