Kootenay Orchards gets Creative when "Closing the Loop"

Posted on

This week at Kootenay Orchards school in Cranbrook, students worked hard to put together some amazing skits and presentations on how various everyday products are made. The students researched as a group what raw materials were used in the manufacturing of their product, the raw materials and resources used and shared the impacts associated. The students presentations were top notch!! Student delivered there information in various ways, some groups used multi media, like power point, others used skits with costumes and props, while others took a more scientific approach and did a dissection of a soccer ball to show all the parts and materials. The students are continuing this topic by picking their own products and doing further research to share with the younger students in the school.
