The Grade 3 classes at Kinnaird Elementary got a taste of Beyond Recycling last month, with three lessons leading up to Earth Day. We investigated the classroom garbage habits, the raw materials that are taken from the Earth to support our lifestyles and learned all about our ecological footprints. As a thank you, some of the students created these beautiful "pledges" to display all of the ways they plan to reduce their impact on the environment.
