The Grade 4/5 class at Salmo Elementary learned about access to potable water and the different water realities around the world. Through simulated hands on activities they learned how difficult it is to make water allocation decisions in places of water scarcity due to lack of abundance or lack of access. Students had a chance to think about their own water footprint and ways that they could personally reduce their water use.
