It is Earth Week and the students at Kootenay Orchards and St Mary’s Cathoilic school are celebrating in style!! All 3 classes, taking part in the Beyond Recycling Program selected Trash to Treasure as their class project. The creations were awesome !!! Some examples of the amazing treasures were, a painted tire seat, juice box wallet, gun shell bracelet, wind chimes, bird feeds, planters, living room furniture and so many more creative and thoughtful pieces. The students really got into their projects and were able to showcase their work in a Earth Day celebration display at their schools. All the students should be so proud..Happy Earth day!!
