KIS students take it outside in BR's "We are Nature" lesson

The “We are Nature” class is one of my favourites and I think it is for most students. It brings together so many concepts discussed in the Beyond Recycling Program and is outside. The students in Mr. Nick’s class at KIS spent the morning exploring the Kimberley Nature Park, by participating in a nature scavenger hunt, creating beautiful land art projects and tuning into their natural environment by using their “Deer Ears” to listen to all the sounds in the forest, their “Owl Eyes” to see around them and their “Fox feet” to play a game that tuned into all their senses in a fun and interactive activity.

It was a great way to bring the program to a close and summarize some of the memorable moments of the BR program.
