The students at Rossland Summit School had a great lesson today at Moon Gravity Farms in Rossland BC. How and why should you farm in town? This educational tour included visiting the happy homes of Ducks, Goats, Bees, Chickens, Fruit Trees, and a large producing Veggie garden. The students were amazed at how a family run farm could produce so much food for our community. These students are familiar with seeing the Moon Gravity Farm table at our weekly Farmers Market, however now they got to see, feel, and smell first hand how the farm operates. A valuable connection for the students and our local Rossland Farm!
