All the grade six students at Isabella Dicken Elementary School in Fernie, British Columbia went on an adventure to explore where their garbage and recycling goes.
As part of the Beyond Recycling Waste Field Trip students hopped onto a school bus to Cranbrook. Staff from the Regional District of the East Kootenay then toured students through the Materials Recycling Facility, Processing Plant and the Central Landfill.
