Winlaw students today presented their findings of the life cycles of everyday objects, such as pencils, soccer balls, and CDs. All groups saw just how many different raw materials, from all over the globe, go into the products we have. We also realised how hard it would be to truly know everything that’s involved in these products’ lifecycles, that there are other options than just the landfill for a lot of these objects. With each presentation came a cartoon illustrating that object’s lifecycle, like the drawing shown here.
