Last week, students at Kinnaird Elementary took an active role in recycling, turning the contents of the classroom recycling bin into brand new paper! The students and some brave parent volunteers took on the task of ripping, blending, scooping, rolling and squeezing pulp into paper and learned a lot about the paper making process along the way! Students thought it was very cool getting to save all the resources in the recycling bin and keep them ‘cycling’. Who knew recycling could be so fun!
