JV Humphries grade 5/6 students had a rousing debate of various energy sources today! They parleyed back and forth on the merits of Wind, Solar, Hydro, Geothermal, Nuclear, and Fossil Fuels. Students at times had so much energy(!) that they almost fell into arguing, but facilitators teacher Keely Grunerud and Beyond Recycling educator Gillian Sanders were sure to keep them on track with appropriate debating skills. It was the first debate the class had ever participated in and they were ready for more!!
