This week, we looked at plastic – how it is in so many day-to-day items, how many of these items we’ve used even before getting to school in the morning, and how hard it is to imagine life without this material. We learned that most of all of the plastic that has ever been made is still around, in one form or another, and then were introduced to the North Pacific Gyre and the garbage accumulating there.
