Redfish students came together to feast on all sorts of real food delicacies, many from the local area. There were raspberries, apple-pear sauce and apple cake; local cheese, ice cream and whipped cream; local meats, such as sausage and salami. There even was a yummy goat stew, almost all ingredients from the student’s back yard. A quick ice cream making soccer game was a welcome interlude between the main and dessert courses, for there was a lot of food to sample! After the potluck, we all got to see some of the wonderful Trash to Treasure creations the group came up with. All in all, a wonderful way to spend the day specially marked to honour our Earth.
