This week we looked at how we are all connected to the Earth. In the lesson, "We are Nature", the students discussed various ways in which we are all connected to our planet and how we have a role in protecting and taking care of it. One slide in the presentation, received much attention, that being the slide that showed the veins of a plant, human heart and the amazon river network, while holding a maple leaf in the sunlight. The students also enjoyed watching the video of the baby deer playing in the mud, as many students could relate to the "mud-licious" feeling when jumping in mud puddles!! .
