Plastic free lunch options!

The students of Ms. Juliet’s Wildflower class did a plastic free lunch week right after spring break this year.  In preparation for this Eco Challenge we made beeswax wraps and sewed some drawstring bags that could be used for snacks in their lunch kits.  A few families donated fun fabric from their sewing materials and we were on our way! Now the students have more options for reusable containers that they can use in their lunches.  They also learned some new sewing skills along the way!
