Students from Ms. Jefferson’s class at Lady Grey Elementary completed some really cool research projects this year!
Students were assigned a product that they would be studying:
- what raw materials went into making the product
- how the product was made
- how the product was transported
- where the product was sold
- how the product was used or consumed
- disposal of the product
At all stages of the product’s life students also looked at the environmental impacts of each stage.
Students combined their learning into posters to share what they had learned about their product with their classmates. Students said that they have a deeper understanding of the value of some common items we use and said that this learning will help them to take better care of the products they have.
