Students in Mrs Julie’s class at Mc Kim school in Kimberley, spent the last few weeks of March researching the various types of Energy and their impacts on our planet. Students worked together to learn all about their energy sources and those of the other debating teams. The lively “tennis match” style debate was full of information, heated discussion and plenty of laughs. Students shared their views on Nuclear, Wind, Solar, Hydro, Geothermal and Fossil Fuels. After the debate, students were asked to vote on which group gave the most convincing argument and rebuttal . The mighty Sun and its debaters team were selected as having the most convincing debate that day. A great job to all!!
