The students in grade 5/6/7 came prepared with the facts to debate the positive and negative aspects of different sources of energy. Things became pretty heated at times and everyone came away with a new perspective. Being quick to think on their feet was a bonus for some of the teams. Did anyone win? It was agreed that one team did the best job being prepared but that all energy sources have some pros and cons. Many were interested in learning more about using renewable energy sources in their future.
