St Mary's Students learn about the life cycle of everyday products

Posted on

Students in Mrs Gallina’s class at St Mary’s Catholic School in Cranbrook, had the opportunity to learn, research and share with fellow students the lifecycle of everyday items. Students decided to vote on the items that they were interested in and with 20 students, we needed to narrow it down to 6 items. There was some great research and information and their presentations were fantastic! Students truly went above and beyond expectations. Some of the products researched were, glue stick, lip balm, race cars, soap, earrings and cell phones. This particular lesson, truly offered students the time to explore deeper the life cycle of items they use everyday and gain a deeper understanding of the impacts they have on our planet.
