Carbon dioxide is one of the natural greenhouse gases in our atmosphere. It acts like A blanket over our earth so that we have the climate that we do, in order to survive. Because of burning fossil fuels there are too many green house gases in our atmosphere. The climate is getting warmer, with more extreme weather, and less snowpack. This means less water in our creeks and wells. It also means changes to natural habitats and more deserts. Melting glaciers and icecaps mean the ocean levels will rise.
