Ever wondered how your food got to your plate? Frank J Mitchell students took a trip into their local super market to find out a little bit more about where their food comes from, and how much is local versus not!
Students then hunkered down for a well earned potluck where they shared real food that they had made. Students questioned the distances that their food traveled, what processing was involved in making it (and what footprint that processing has), and what “real” is, anyway. Students had a great time sharing food and laughter under the sun in Sparwood!
