The Beyond Recycling students partnered with Salmo Secondary, Know Your Watershed, students for a water festival. Elementary students showcased their trash to treasure creations, while the Grade 8 students provided an opportunity to learn about local water issues through 2 stations. Using story telling and a working model of the Salmo Watershed, which the Grade 8 students had built, elementary students had a hands on opportunity to learn about non-point pollution and its impact on their water.
