Energy Debates

The grade 4/5 class was introduced to the skill of debating. From researching their energy source to preparing notes to support their topics they learned a lot about debating and critical thinking. Seven energy sources were researched and debated in the class. Solar, geothermal, wind, hydro, coal, nuclear and oil. It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm and critical thinking skills throughout the class. Students fully immersed themselves into their roles of debaters and supporters of their assigned topic.
