Fernie students spent a couple weeks delving into information about renewable and non-renewable energy sources. They learned about hydroelectric, coal, oil, geothermal, nuclear, wind and solar energy. They all arrived prepared for fight, but a respectful one filled with well-researched information.
Was there a clear winner? We might like to say they are all the students were winners as they are on their way to knowing more about the impacts, the benefits and drawbacks of all the energy sources the resources.
